Leon, a founding member of the firm, has practised corporate and securities law in Vancouver since 1979, having previously taught law at the Universities of British Columbia and Toronto, and served as Chairman of both the Law Reform and the Corporate and Financial Services Commissions of British Columbia. He advises private clients and governments and also acts as a neutral third party arbitrator in labour-management and commercial disputes (including disputes between brokerage houses and their clients). He is a member of both the Domestic Commercial and Securities Panels of the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre and has acted as Chair of Hearing Panels established by the Investment Dealers Association of Canada.
